This Indenture made this fifteenth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seven  Between Asa COOMBES & Zelphy his wife of the County of Hardin and State of Kentucky of the one part and Ambrose GEOGHEGAN and Benjamin HELM of the county and state aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Asa COOMBES and Zelphy his wife for and in consideration of the sum of eight hundred dollars in
hand paid by the said Ambrose GEOGHEGAN and Benjamin HELM before the signing sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof the said
Asa COOMBES and Zelphy his wife doth hereby acknowledge and themselves thereof fully satisfied have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien and confirm unto the said Ambrose
GEOGHEGAN and Benjamin HELM their heirs and assigns forever a certain
piece of ground containing ___[blank] ___ acres and a saw mill which stands on said piece of ground situate lying and being in Hardin County and adjoining to Elizabethtown which piece of ground and sawmill was conveyed by Elizabeth BRUIA to Asa COOMBES by Deed bearing date the 4th day of May 1805 and Bounded as follows. To wit  Begginning in the creek at low water mark about two feet below the lower end of the said saw mill as She now Stands Running thence on direct line to the corner of Davis STORIES tan yard lot (which lot was sold by Samuel HAYCRAFT to Jacob BANNERS) where the said lott strikes the  ____ Street of Elizabeth [Hainn?] there at right angles _____ the street_____ of a lott where Robert HUSTON formerly lived on the northwardly side of said Street thence with the line of the said lott until it strikes the bank of the race leading to the said mill thence up the said _____  line of a lott sold by Samuel HAYCRAFT to George H. HOWARD thence with his line to the creek thence down the creek to the Beginning including said saw mill in the ____ _______ also to Begin on the eastwardly side of said race where the said George H. HOWARD's line Strikes said Race running thence up said race north 48 degrees east 24 poles thence East 44 poles thence ____ thence 49o 17 poles to the head of the said race where the same receives the water from the dam thence across the creek where the dam of said mill now Stands extending or running eight poles farther than the present dam extends Southwardly for an additional abutment if necessary at any time hereafter thence eastwardly up the Creek as far as will be sufficient for a good dam thence northwardly across the creek above the head of the said race thence down on the northwardly and westwardly side of the said race so as to include the said race and not to be more than ten feed wide in any Place to last place of Beginning To have and to hold the said parcel or piece of ground saw mill race and dam together with all and Singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise thereunto appertaining to the only proper use and behoof of him the said Ambrose GEOGHEGAN and Benjamin HELM and their heirs and assigns forever and the said Asa COOMBES and Zelpha his wife doth for themselves and their heirs further conveyed and agree to and with the said Ambrose GEOGHEGAN and Benjamin HELM their heirs and assigns that they will and shall forever warrant and defend the said piece or pieces of land saw mill __ from themselves and their heirs and from every other person or persons whatsoever claiming the same in any manner  In Witness whereof the said Asa COOMBES and Zelphy his wife doth hereunto set their hands and seals the day and date first written

I Benjamin HELM Clerk of the County Court of the County aforesaid do hereby certify that on the day of the date of the within Indenture Asa COOMBES and Zelpy his wife personally appeared before me and acknowledged the within Indenture of Bargain sale as and for their act and deed. 
She the said Zelpy being at the same time examined by me separate and apart from her said husband said she freely and voluntarily relinquished her right of dower in and to the land hereby conveyed whereupon I have truly recorded the same in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 16th day of February 1807

I Nicholas MILLER deputy sheriff for Stephen RAWLINGS sheriff of Hardin County do certify that by virtue of an execution from the Nelson Circuit Court to the Sheriff of Hardin County directed William R. HYNES against Asa COOMBES, I did expose to sale and actually sold to the highest bidder for ready money a saw mill and seal with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging (the saw excepted) the property of Asa COOMBES  Adjoining to Elizabethtown in Hardin County and the said William R. HYNES became the purchaser thereof for the sum of seven hundred & ten dollars it being the highest bid  given under my hand this 15th day of June 1805
